Appointing an auditor

Do I need to appoint an auditor?

Corporate law requires a corporation to appoint an auditor to prepare audited financial statements. However, the law permits the shareholders of a non-distributing (private) corporation to prepare a resolution to dispense with the requirement to appoint an auditor.

Unless otherwise instructed, our startup organization documents will dispense with the auditor appointment requirement.
